LongWave Photonics’ THzQCL-5THz-ECQCL is an External Cavity Quantum Cascade Laser (ECQCL).  The gain chip is housed in the EasyQCL-200 cryocooler. External feedback is provided by an Echelle Grating on a computer-controlled rotation stage.  Milliwatt average output powers are available over a 300+ GHz tuning range from 4.7 to 5 THz — including access to the Atomic Oxygen line and across several atmospheric transmission windows. Applications: Spectroscopy and Imaging.
